Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles, along with her twins Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics when she was an infant on a field trip to school to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the following eleven years. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top division of competition. Two years after that, Biles dominated the sport. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious persona, and the difficult routines she performed in each of the four events: vaulting, uneven bars and balance beam.
