Alia Shawkat has been a TV actor for more than 20 years. Alia was born 18th April 1989, located in Riverside California. Maeby, the Fox character on Arrested Development that she played has earned her a TV Land Future Classic Award. Shawkat was one of the cast members in the movie Whip It alongside Ellen Page. Shawkat was Hannah in the film State of Grace, from 2001 until 2004. She was also Maeby Funke an integral cast member of Arrested Development. She played her role right from the start to the final episode. Shawkat's role was sometimes highlighted in the show's reviews. Brian M. Palmer of Pop Culture said that she was the brightest stars in a series dominated by bright lights, and Scott Weinberg at eFilmCritic said it was a funny young woman. On an A.V. In 2009 Shawkat was on Whip It co-star Har Mar Superstar's music videos for Tall Boy which also featured Eva Mendes and Eric Wareheim. Shawkat Har Mar teamed up with Whip-It's star Ellen Page to produce and create Stitch N Bitch for HBO in October of 2009. Alice Braga portrayed the character of Teresa Mendoza on the television crime-thriller series Queen of the South from until 2021. The actress received plenty of appreciation and praise for her character.

The success of Firefly is partly due to the fact she was the lead actress in Whedon's subsequent TV series, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good at handling the complex role of River Tam. In the role of Tam she was required to participate in government research where she was made to become an ideal assassin.
