Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In the same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's time for Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge success, and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively in between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also established herself as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of in the city for her entire childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down there ever since.
