Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and performer. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is an attorney in the Madras High Court. Andrea is the youngest sibling of the researcher assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai. He attended National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea learned to play classical piano in her eighth year. When she was 10, she was in a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first singing and music composing career. Also, she was an actor in the college. She served as President of the The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's theatre career began with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She acted in new leo commercial for coffee together with the actor Shiva in the year 2006. She was also on Podhigai Channel on a TV serial. She has appeared in all parts of India. She was in a short role at the end of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Following her performance of a song on Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu he asked her to play as the main female characters in his next film Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed. It featured Andrea portraying Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, who's husband is involved in an affair, and then is blackmailed. Andrea was picked for the part after Simran and Tabu were two actors who were contacted by the producers. The film was released in the early 2010s. In 2011 she agreed to be a minor part in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which was released in August 2011. Her Malayalam debut in a film with Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
